29th December: BOXING DAY SPEEDWAY SHOWDOWN ON SPEED CHANNEL
Speedway fans should be pleased to know that the 2011 Boxing Day Speedway Showdown will be featured on Pay TV’s SPEED channel (505). It is the first race meeting conducted by the Kurri Kurri Speedway Club Inc to be televised nationally.
The race meeting was covered by Power Productions – a company that has a long involvement with speedway. Former speedway rider, Rod Colquhoun, will be one of the presenters on the program along with David Tapp.
The Boxing Day Showdown will first be shown on Wednesday night 04 January 2012 at 8:30pm and then replayed the following day, Thursday 05 January 2012 at midday.
Those who attended the race meeting will know that the racing was very exciting and David Tapp, who has produced the show, has commented that the show makes great TV viewing.
The Kurri Kurri Speedway Club Inc welcomes this coverage and encourages speedway fans to not only watch the show, but tell those who missed out on going to the meeting that this is their chance to see what they missed – a very exciting and entertaining race meeting!!
